How this planner stays source-backed

The planner supports the confirmed loadout structure: 5 towers, 2 heroes, and 3 spells. It also gives you a Stage and Mode field so a build can be planned for a specific game context.

The tool deliberately does not claim exact stats, DPS, costs, cooldowns, or win rates. Player-entered names remain your plan, not an official confirmation. If a field is missing, leave it blank or mark it Unknown instead of guessing from another Kingdom Rush game.

Build workflow

  1. Enter the stage if you know it. Otherwise keep it as Unknown.
  2. Choose the mode: Unknown, Classic, Iron, Blitz, Hero Party, or Spell Rush.
  3. Fill the 5 Towers, 2 Heroes, and 3 Spells slots.
  4. Review Build Summary and the evidence note.
  5. Save or share build using the generated page URL.

Current upgrade-system note

Global tower upgrades are back. Any build assumption inherited from the earlier demo's individual tower leveling system should be rechecked before launch.

What the planner does not do yet

  • It does not rank towers, heroes, or spells.
  • It does not validate exact mechanical values.
  • It does not generate a win-rate or meta prediction.
  • It does not create stage walkthroughs.

Player steps that keep the build usable

Start with the stage goal instead of a favorite tower name. If you are planning for a boss map, write the boss or choke point in the Stage field first, then choose towers that answer that situation. If the stage is still unconfirmed, keep the Stage field as Unknown and use the note area to describe the public clue you are reacting to.

After the stage, choose the mode. Classic should be used for a normal route plan, while Iron, Blitz, Hero Party, and Spell Rush should be treated as separate assumptions. Do not copy one build across modes unless the same public source confirms that the rule set is unchanged.

Fill the 5 tower slots before choosing heroes and spells. The planner works best when each tower slot has a job: lane control, flying enemy answer, armor answer, burst damage, or emergency coverage. If you do not know a tower name yet, write the job instead of inventing a unit.

Failure modes to avoid

Do not import costs, cooldowns, tower upgrades, or enemy counters from older Kingdom Rush games unless a Kingdom Rush 6 source repeats them. Older game knowledge is useful for asking better questions, but it is not evidence for this planner.

Do not treat a shared URL as proof that the build is optimal. The URL only preserves your selected fields. Before sharing it, check the summary and remove any claim that looks like a ranking, a damage number, or a guaranteed clear.

Do not leave every slot blank. If a name is not public, write the intended role, such as anti-air tower, crowd-control tower, boss burst hero, or panic spell. That makes the build readable today and easy to update when official names and mechanics become available.

FAQ

Can this planner choose the best tower lineup?

No. It records a source-aware lineup; it does not calculate the best lineup. Until complete tower stats, enemy data, stage layouts, and mode rules are public, any best-build claim would be a guess.

Why are some fields allowed to stay Unknown?

Unknown is a useful state. It tells you the plan depends on missing public information instead of hiding that gap. This is especially important before launch, when a trailer, Steam description, and official notes may confirm structure without confirming exact values.

When should I update a saved build?

Update it when an official page, patch note, or verified gameplay source confirms a tower name, hero rule, spell behavior, stage objective, or mode restriction. If the source only confirms the game exists or lists a broad feature, keep mechanical values out of the build.

What sources should I trust first?

Use the official Steam page first for release and product facts, then official Kingdom Rush or Ironhide channels for mechanics. Community videos can help after release, but the planner should cite them only when the footage clearly shows the exact field you are adding.

Source-linked evidence

The current public source used for this planner is the Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD Steam page. It supports the game identity and public product context; it does not yet provide exact planner values for every tower, hero, spell, cost, cooldown, stage rule, or win-rate claim.
